Details

Runway for a Cure is an event that shows child and adult cancer fighters and survivors their courageous, confidence, strength and beauty. We are partnering with local boutiques, local celebrities and community heroes to make this a show you won’t want to miss. Cocktail hour, raffles, auctions, live performances & more. 

We welcome 50+ cancer fighters and survivors from all around the country, while also honoring angels lost due to cancer.

Runway for a Cure 2024 Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How does the seating at the event work? Can we reserve specific seats?
    1. The event will be runway style seating – rows of chairs facing the runway. There will be no tables. Seating is first come, first served after cocktail hour. 
  2. What will the models be wearing?
    1. The models will be wearing clothing from 4 local boutiques. Each boutique will have a “pop-up shop” at the show so you can purchase the clothing you see on the runway – with a percentage of each purchase benefitting Glimmer of Hope Foundation. 
  3. Will there be food at the event? 
    1. Local restaurants will be tabling with sample size portions available for dinner and dessert. Plated appetizers will be available during cocktail hour. 
  4. Can my business sponsor the event?

  5. What will the money from this event benefit? 
    1. The funds from this event will benefit Glimmer of Hope Foundation. Our programs entail the donation of American Girls Dolls (with or without hair), empowering photoshoots and bereavement boxes for families battling childhood cancer. Runway for a Cure is named in honor of the “Runway for a Cure” that was hosted by our Founder in 2017- in which Ella walked as the finale of the show. 
  6. Who are the models?
    1. The show will feature 50+ adult and childhood cancer survivors and fighter models. 
  7. How much are tickets?
    1. General Admission Tickets are $50, available at https://gohfdn.booktix.net/
  8. Will tickets be available at the door? 
    1. We cannot guarantee the availability of tickets at the door due to capacity. Please follow our social media pages for details on tickets. If there is capacity to sell tickets at the door, tickets will be $65 if purchased at the door. 
  9. What if I can’t attend the event but would like to donate to the cause?

  10. What should I wear?
    1. Event attire is Semi Formal/Formal. Dress to impress! Pink is encouraged, as it was Ella’s favorite color.
